1. What is/was your profession?
I spent 10 years working as a sales trader for a large bank on Wall Street while running my own skincare business on the side. This past May I left corporate America after the birth of my 2nd son to stay home with my boys and focus full time on my Rodan and Fields business. I could not be happier to have this opportunity…it really is the best of both worlds for me!
2. What made you decide to join the Contemporary Club? What has your favorite part been thus far?
Joining the club was a no brainer for me honestly, given that my sister in law Stefanie has been a member for the last few years and always spoke so highly of it. It has been an amazing way for me to connect with other women all over town , given that my kids are so small and we aren’t in the school system yet. Without the club I think it would have been much harder to meet people. No doubt my favorite part has been the friendships I have made (and the excuse for a ladies night out once a month!)
3. How do you like living in HHK? Where did you live previously?
We moved out of Hoboken in 2011 and after struggling to find a home in HHK which was always our first choice, we decided to move to Ridgewood for 3 years. We continued to look at houses and real estate within HHK the entire time we were in Ridgewood, knowing that ultimately we wanted to end up in our forever home in this town. When our house came on the market we put a full price offer in the very first day….not only did we love the house but it was on our absolute favorite block in town. It was meant to be for sure!
4. What is/are your favorite local restaurant(s) for dining: a. with your family b. for date night/girls night out?
We eat as a family or get take out from Cafe Amici once a week. And now that they do the loyalty rewards card its probably going to be more often as we keep racking up those points! For date night, we love Esty Street in Park Ridge, Grange in Westwood and Cafe 37 in Ridgewood. For girls night out I love Cravings in Ridgewood!
5. What are you most looking forward to this Fall?
The summer is always so crazy running in a million different directions I look forward to fall honestly just being home and reconnecting with all of our friends that we didnt see as much over the summer. Ive been decorated since Labor Day weekend and we are about to rock the fire pit for the first time this season. Loving these cooler days and nights!
6. Tell us 2 Truths and 1 Lie about Yourself…
I have a strong fear of all birds.
I moved 10 times in 10 years.
Ive never seen the Godfather
