YAC

The Youth Activities Council (YAC) is a local volunteer organization consisting of parents, neighbors and community members who offer the children of Ho-Ho-Kus the opportunity to be exposed to, and participate in, hobbies, sports, and extra curricular activities, not directly offered by our school or town recreation.

Some popular offerings from The YAC are chess, skiing, tennis, horse back riding, and art classes for school age children. For our toddlers and elementary age children, the YAC organizes parties and activities including park play dates and pumpkin picking.

The Contemporary Club’s Playdate Group is for children ages 0-6 and their parents and caregivers. The goal is for the children and adults to have fun together, make new friendships and explore child-friendly destinations in our area. Playdates are organized roughly once a month September – May. They take place on weekends and week days with the hope that everyone can attend!

As the YAC’s only source of funds, The Contemporary Club of Ho-Ho-Kus has an annual gala event to raise money for the YAC’s many programs. Please email ccofhhk@gmail.com for further information on the YAC.
