Message from President

Serving our Community through friendship and fellowship has been the driving goal of the Contemporary Club of Ho-Ho-Kus since its inception in 1929.  From raising funds to support fellow charitable organizations, to organizing annual events for the children of Ho-Ho-Kus, to providing multiple opportunities for our members and friends to socialize, the Club is involved in all facets of life in our small town.

For 85 years the women of the Contemporary Club have come together with the goal of doing great work for Ho-Ho-Kus. While we recognize that many things have changed over the years, one thing has remained constant – Community is at the core of who we are, and what we do.

The Contemporary Club is so much more than the amazing events we provide for the community and funds we raise for local organizations.  We are a group of some of the strongest, intelligent and most caring women I have had the honor of meeting.  A group of women that year-after-year continue to give their talents and time to better the community that they love so much while also networking and fostering new relationships with one another.

Our group is only as strong as its members and their dedication to the club, and so I urge you to get (and stay!) involved.  Please come to the meetings with the desire to be engaged, not just by volunteering your time but also by getting to know the other members, as one of the best parts of being involved in The Contemporary Club are the lasting friendships you will make.

I look forward to getting to know each of you better this year while accomplishing great things.

Lisa Pisano, President
