Social Services: Costume Drive Taking Place thru 10/20

September 9, 2013By 0 Comments

Mickey Mouse costumeTo kick off the 2013-14 Club year, the first donation drive that Social Services will be holding is a Halloween Costume Drive for the organization Jersey Cares.

For most children’s shelters and other Jersey Cares project partners, Halloween costumes do not make the list of essentials in the budget. Therefore, Jersey Cares helps to offset costume costs by collecting new and gently used costumes from generous volunteers. Every October, this enables Jersey Cares to help children living in New Jersey’s shelters to have a Happy Halloween.

If you have any new or gently used costumes you would like to contribute, please drop off to Febbie Staniar or Monica Ashley by October 20th.

Please note that Jersey Cares can only accept new and gently used children’s costumes. They do not have the capacity to accept adult costumes.

Items accepted for the Halloween Costume Drive include:

  • Complete new or gently used children’s costumes
  • Halloween masks and accessories
  • Halloween face make-up

As always, thank you for your support!
